Sony Xperia V, another smart phone from SONY with a few more advanced features. Along with this, xperia J and xperia T are also announced on the same day, it’s already been a week ago since they got released before the launch of Samsung galaxy note 2.
Today in androidbent we are going to discuss about its specifications and take a complete review on it.
Design
It has a sleek body with a screen size of 4.3 inches. The HD capacitive touch screen is very faster to navigate and the phone has a screen resolution of 720×1280 pixels.
Camera
It has a 13 mega pixel HD camera recording at 1080p resolution and unfortunately it has a low powerful front facing camera of 0.3 MP
Performance
This device runs on Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system and can expect jelly bean update very soon. It is powered by 1.5 GHz Qualcomm snapdragon s4 processor. The RAM is 1GB and it has an 8GB internal storage with 32 GB of expandable memory support.
Features
This new smart phone can stay up to 30 min in water at a depth of 1m and it also meets IP55 and IP57 protocols for strong shell and durability. Has other feature like showing the directions in Compass, Proximity sensors, Ambient light, Gyroscope, Accelerometer, Bluetooth v3.1, NFC, Micro USB slot, Wi-Fi hotspot. Totally we can say that this smart phone is a very tough phone build with all advance features.
Battery
This device has a battery of 1700 mAh which can last for nearly 6 to 7 hours maximum on average use. I was hoping a better battery backup of 3000+ mAh from this phone before the release but my hopes went into veins, well leave it! I am a sony fan boy and still hope to improve the battery life in the upcoming devices.
Price and Shipping Date
We can expect this smart phone around the last weeks of October and the price would be expected at Rs. 20,000 +
